“The Winter Solstice celebrates the presence of Spirit and the power of faith and hope that our visions of the future will come into manifestation. All we can do in the middle of winter is pray and hope that the light will return. Winter Solstice is not about having the light. It is about carrying hope and moving toward a vision that we will work to make a reality. It is a time of patience, like that of an expectant mother who can sense the spirit of the child within but must wait until the actual quickening that physical life is truly within her.” -Ruth Barret
Join us in the sacred ceremony between body and breath. Where we will gather to tap into the intelligence of the heart and bring our intention into this space for deep listening.
The session will begin with a guided meditation and sharing exercise to help participants identify what needs to shift/heal in their lives and their intentions for the session. You will then find a comfortable position lying down and Krista will guide you through the Breathwork for 35-40 minutes, all set to a cosmic soundtrack, and ending with deep relaxation. To close, we gather together in circle and share our experience, if we feel called to, and Krista will answer any questions you may have about Breathwork.
Breathwork is an active meditation technique that facilitates emotional release in a safe and supportive environment. Through full rhythmic breathing, the conscious mind softens, allowing us to tune into our body wisdom to heal current stress, past wounds, and traumas.
Breathwork has the power to change emotional default settings and lifetime patterns of depression, anxiety and addiction by feeling and clearing with the breath. This innovative therapy aims to connect you to your intuition, creativity and self-worth. Above all, this practice nourishes the heart; helping you to align with feelings of deep appreciation and self-love.
